Take a Volunteer Vacation!
We encourage people to come to Mexico and work with us. You can make a huge difference in someone’s life by meeting them personally, encouraging them, letting them know you care and giving then a wheelchair. According to the President of Mexico there are 1,000,000 people in Mexico who need wheelchairs. With the help of volunteers like you we can help the thousands of people who still need mobility, and give them hope, dignity, independence and a new life.
Church Groups, Students & Families can make a Big Difference
You can come as in individual, a family, bring your church, your club, friends or others in your community. You can stay for a week or longer. We provide comfortable, wheelchair accessible accommodations. For more information about specific trips go to our Annual Events & News page. World Access Project started because the founder went to Mexico in 1997 and gave Leti, a 17-year-old girl with polio, her first wheelchair. She lived in the middle of a corn field and could only leave her house when she was carried. Her smile, gratitude, seeing her move around independently for the first time in her life, and realizing she would never need to be carried again, changed Richard's life.
Your involvement will change the life of a person with a disability, his/her family, friends, and others, and your life will be changed too, knowing you gave the gift of mobility, shared your life, and made someone else's life better...
