- Richard St.Denis
Richard is the Director and Founder of World Access Project. Previously he was the Recreation & Sports Director of The Mobility Project, until the organization closed in August 2009. He and his wife, Daniela, live in Mexico full-time. He has been providing wheelchairs to people with disabilities throughout the world since 1997. Richard is a retired attorney and a service-connected disabled veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is a certified Ski & Tennis Instructor for people with disabilities. In 2011 he was selected as one of CNN Top 10 Heroes for his work with World Access Project.
Richard’s vision for World Access Project is to provide mobility equipment to 1,000 people each year and develop a ‘Life Rehabilitation Center’ facility, where people can receive 'life rehabilitation' - learn to use their wheelchairs, learn life-skills that will provide them with employment, develop their self-confidence and independence, and a spiritual base to bring people closer to God. He hopes someday it will be run by Mexican people with disabilities to help other disabled Mexicans.

David & Eileen Wise
David and Eileen were married in 2014 and spent their honeymoon serving on the mission-field in Mexico with World Access Project. David is the President of our Board of Directors. They live in Mariposa, California where David is a general contractor. David has travelled to many countries to donate wheelchairs to those who don’t have them. He collects used wheelchairs in Mariposa, California and surrounding communities, and helps us get them to Mexico to help those who so desperately need mobility. He is a great help in organizing the construction projects to make people’s homes more accessible. He is the team leader of the group that comes to Mexico from Mariposa each summer.
Dr. Eileen Wise is a graduate of University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and practices veterinary medicine at her clinic, All Creatures Veterinary Hospital in Mariposa, California. To bring awareness and financial support to World Access Project's ministry, Eileen spends a week working in a wheelchair. She also helped to raise funds, expand public support and support World Access Project's mission. Eileen is a dedicated mother to her twin sons, Lonnie and Jamie.

Mexico Staff

Hazuki Yamada
Hazuki is the Director of our Harmony School. She was born and raised in Japan until she was 13 years old, when her family moved to Mexico because of her father’s business. After living in Guadalajara three years she returned to Japan and finished high school and university. With God’s guidance she returned to Guadalajara to the school she had attended as a student, and became a teacher at a Christian, bilingual school for ten years. In 2010 she started Harmony School for those who don't have the opportunity to get an education because of their disability, problems adjusting to a normal school, or family issues. Harmony is a Christian, bilingual school, from kindergarten through high school, that uses A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education), teaching system, the system which she used while student and teacher in Guadalajara. We presently have 50 students, with and without disabilities. The goal of the school is that students with and without disabilities receive a high level of education, live in harmony together, and be prepared to love and serve God and others from their heart, with excellency in academic abilities and character.
